HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – According to Hampton Police, a man has been arrested and charged for the murder of 25-year-old Naysawn Needam. Needam was killed on Michigan Drive on April 2nd.

10 On Your Side spoke with Needam’s family members, who described the type of person he was in life.
“He was a typical young man, you know, he was into video games. He didn’t really do much. He wasn’t out in the streets getting into trouble,” said Needam’s mother, Shemeka Needam, “all he did was play video games and phones. He was a really big gamer.”
On the night of April 2nd, Hampton Police were called to Michigan Drive for a shooting. There, they found Naysawn with a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene…
