Chicago police are searching for a man and woman who allegedly attacked a 26-year-old man on a CTA train platform in the West Loop just before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, and they are asking late-night riders to help them track the pair down.
Officers say the two suspects confronted the victim on a platform in the 900 block of West Lake Street, then took off before police arrived. Investigators have released images and detailed clothing descriptions and are urging anyone who saw the late-night beatdown to step forward.
According to CBS Chicago, officers responded to a call of aggravated battery on the CTA platform and found that a 26-year-old man had been attacked by two people. Police describe the male suspect as wearing a light-blue Chicago Blackhawks cap, a dark gray long-sleeve shirt, tan pants and brown shoes. The female suspect was reportedly dressed in a black shirt, black pants and white gym shoes.
