A Chicago police officer shot two suspects Tuesday evening in southwest suburban Country Club Hills, according to a notification sent to members of the Chicago Police Department.
In the notification, provided to the Chicago Sun-Times, the department said two suspects were shot around 7:30 p.m. by a CPD officer detailed to a unit operating in the 18800 block of Loretto Lane in the suburb. Both were in critical condition and taken to area hospitals; the officer was taken to a hospital for observation as well.
The Chicago Police Department deferred questions to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment…
