Windows of South Loop high rises shattered during severe storm

Windows of at least two high rise buildings in Chicago were shattered during a severe storms that hammered the region with strong gusts of wind and heavy rainfall on Wednesday.

Several windows on a building on the 1700 block of South Michigan Avenue were shattered during the storms.

Multiple windows of a building near the corner of East Roosevelt Road and South Indiana Avenue were also broken during the storm, according to NBC Chicago’s Matt Rodrigues, who was at the scene.
