A New York bagel spot known for its “quintessential New York City bagel” that’s frequently mentioned on a number of sitcoms including “Seinfeld,” “Sex and the City” and “The Office” will open its first Chicago location this week.
H&H Bagels will open Thursday in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood, at 164 N. Peoria St., as part of an “ongoing expansion across the U.S.,” a press release said, with the first 250 customers to receive tote bags and H&H gift cards. The expansion to Chicago was first announced in 2025.
“Opening in Chicago is a major milestone for us,” Jay Rushin, CEO of H&H Bagels said in the release. “There’s such an incredible food culture in the city, and we’re excited to join that community by bringing our classic New York City bagels to Fulton Market. We look forward to serving the neighborhood this summer and beyond.”…
