CHICAGO — It’s the highly anticipated grand opening thousands of fans have been waiting for: the brand-new Hello Kitty Cafe opened Friday morning.
The cafe is located at 360 North Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Hello Kitty herself greeted fans before the doors opened up at 10 a.m.
The first 50 guests in line were welcomed with gift bags and directed to the cafe, where you can buy an assortment of Hello Kitty-inspired pastries and drinks.
