Village People lead singer Victor Willis dies at 74 after ‘short but aggressive illness’

CHICAGO (WGN) – Victor Willis, the frontman of the disco group Village People, has died at age 74.

The band announced Willis’ death in a social media post shared early Wednesday morning.

According to the post, Willis died following “a short but aggressive illness.”
