3 alleged members of Tren de Aragua arrested in ‘vicious’ Chicago kidnapping and murder: Feds

Three suspects believed to be linked to Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua are accused of a horrific kidnapping and murder in Chicago, federal officials said.

The Department of Justice announced the arrests Wednesday, along with five other alleged members of the gang found in Texas.

In Illinois, the arrests stem from a kidnapping and murder that took place in an abandoned building in Englewood near the Dan Ryan Expressway, located at 6829 S. Perry. Federal prosecutors said the three high-ranking gang members kidnapped a man as he walked near a Chicago park and held him captive and bound for hours before transporting him to the abandoned building, shooting him multiple times and leaving his body in a bathtub…
