The field of candidates who want to be Chicago’s next mayor is growing, again. Dr. Lisa Nee is a Chicago-born cardiologist with an MBA, but little political experience. Nee made headlines several years ago for blowing the whistle about deficincies in heart treatments for veterans at Hines VA Hospital.
“I want to be the problem solver. I want to take all of my skills, add them up, and bring something about public trust back to the office,” Nee said during an appearance on The Point with WGN Political Editor Tahman Bradley.
