JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents conducting a federal operation in Janesville on Wednesday were involved in a crash, according to local police.
Janesville Police reported that a transport van collided with a tree, and that a federal vehicle collided with the van earlier this morning.
Police said that federal agents were conducting “targeted operations” in Janesville today, but the police department itself was “not asked to assist in, participate in, or provide information for the operation,” but officers did respond to and investigate the crash…
