Shooting at suburban vintage and custom car festival prompts investigation

Police are investigating after a person was shot at a suburban car festival on Saturday.

Scoop Waukegan closed early on its second day after a shooting broke out at the festival, according to a social media post shared around 7:50 p.m. by 4th Ward Alderman Victor Felix.
