If you were anywhere near Chicago’s West Side on Friday night, you might have caught a scene that’s becoming a familiar one on the city’s expressways: a massive group of motorcycles rolling through traffic on the Eisenhower Expressway, and by massive, we’re talking hundreds of bikes according to at least one witness.
Riders were reportedly moving at high speeds and cutting between lanes, which is the kind of thing that gets a lot of attention from drivers who just wanted to get home after a long week.
This wasn’t a one-off, either. Just that same morning, a similar group had already made its presence known on the Dan Ryan Expressway, with riders weaving through traffic and popping wheelies for anyone with a phone camera ready.
