A second Chicago facility has been ordered to stop accepting human remains after more than 50 decaying bodies were found at a Southeast Side funeral home last week.
According to the Illinois Comptroller’s Office, Bohemian National Cemetery has been ordered to stop accepting human remains after investigators were alerted to possible violations of laws concerning improper storage of bodies at the site.
Investigators say the cemetery has complied with that request, and that an investigation is ongoing into the matter…
