An employee of Walgreens, 4040 N. Cicero Ave., reported that three men broke into the store and attempted to break into an automated teller machine at about 4 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
Officers responded to a call of a burglary and discovered the sliding front door was damaged, according to police. Officers met with an employee who provided footage showing a black sedan parked in the lot at about 4 a.m. and three men exited holding a crowbar and a drill, according to police.
