A Chicago musician is dead after dozens of rounds of ammunition were fired into his vehicle while he was parked at a gas station.

Bloodhound Q50, born Mikquale T. Cooper, was fatally shot Sunday, Sept. 13, at a Fuller Park gas station in an ambush involving multiple gunmen, the Chicago Sun-Times, ABC 7 Chicago and Fox 32 Chicago reported.
Cooper, 22, “was in a vehicle when two vehicles pulled alongside and multiple offenders from each vehicle began firing at the victim who was seated in the driver’s seat,” a Chicago Police Department spokesperson told PEOPLE.
