ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A new sculpture measuring 10 times the scale of a typical human head has been installed outside the St. Charles County Historical Society along historic Main Street.
The artwork depicts explorer Jean Baptiste Pointe DuSable, who is recognized as the founder of Chicago and the initial permanent settler of non-indigenous background in the area that became the city.
