A thief caused several hundred dollars in damage while stealing $40 in cash from Sauganash Grill, 6005 N. Sauganash Ave., Thursday morning, Sept. 17, and the same people hit other businesses, police said.
Officers in the 2nd (Wentworth) Police District discovered a cash register in the alley of the 4700 block of South Greenwood Avenue in Kenwood containing a gift card for Sauganash Grill, according to 17th (Albany Park) District police.
