A man was arrested for allegedly trying to hijack a vehicle at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in the 6200 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, in Gladstone Park, according to 16th (Jefferson Park) District police.
Officers responded to a call of a man riding a bicycle while holding an apparent handgun and reportedly located the man on Milwaukee, according to police. Officers saw that the man was tapping on the glass of a parked vehicle with what appeared to be a gun and noticed there were two occupants inside, police said.
