DOWNTOWN — A nearly 1.5-mile dedicated bus lane is coming to northbound Michigan Avenue to help reduce delays and keep buses moving through Downtown, the city announced Wednesday.
The dedicated bus lane will be located on northbound Michigan Avenue between Roosevelt Road and Wacker Drive. The Chicago Department of Transportation will begin installing pavement markings and signs this week, with overnight work expected to take seven to 10 days, weather permitting, according to a press release.
