A 100-mile bike ride changed the way Megan Wenstrup looked at breast cancer.
Wenstrup, owner of Heights Cycle in Palos Heights, took part in a breast cancer fundraiser several years ago. She wasn’t sure how she would feel about riding that far outdoors, but the experience stayed with her.
“While I much prefer an indoor bike to an outdoor bike, the event had a tremendous impact,” Wenstrup said.
