WHEATON, IL — A woman accused of driving a getaway vehicle following an alleged $1,694 retail theft in Naperville will remain in custody before trial after authorities said she led police on a high-speed chase reaching approximately 82 mph along Chicago-area interstates.
According to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and Elmhurst Police Chief Michael McLean, Judge Joshua Dieden granted prosecutors’ request to detain 32-year-old Arterria Lipsey of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
