The media has reported on very strange news out of Chicago, Illinois for several decades, as anywhere else. However, some stories are a bit more chilling than others. Some of these stories leave you with goosebumps and questions of why would anybody in their right mind do that.
According to police, who responded to the scene, the murders that took place in one Chicago suburb Sunday morning have residents asking that same question. Why would anybody in their right mind do that?
Just before 11:30 AM EST on January 21, 2024, four women were pronounced dead at a home in the 7400 block of 173rd Street in Chicago, Illinois, according to police.
Village Manager Pat Carr said the victims were shot to death during a domestic incident, in reports from ABC 7 Chicago.
The father has been taken into custody, and is being indicted on several charges including manslaughter. The names of the victims are Majeda Kassem, 59; Halema Kassem, 25; Zahia Kassem, 25; and Hanan Kassem, 24.
