CHICAGO, Ill. – The pressure is building on Chicago’s mayor with thousands of migrants facing evictions starting this week. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and city officials are calling for Mayor Brandon Johnson to again delay the evictions, which are supposed to start Wednesday, but so far Johnson hasn’t said what he’ll do.
