Teenage Migrant Girl Reported Missing in Chicago After Boarding Bus

Police in Chicago are searching for a missing migrant teen who has not be seen or heard from since she boarded a city bus on Sunday.

Chiquinquira Iwa-Ruiz, 16, was last spotted over the weekend, hopping onto a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus near the intersection of Ashland Avenue and lake Street in the West Loop neighborhood of the city, according to FOX32 Chicago . The teen had been staying at a migrant shelter in the Fulton Market area.

She was seen wearing a black sweatshirt, white shirt, blue jeans, and white Converse shoes. She has brown hair and blue eyes weighs about 115 pounds and stands at 5-foot-6.

Chicago Police Department (CPD) officials said in a bulletin that Iwa-Ruiz may have difficulty communicating.
