CHICAGO (CBS)– One person died, and two others were wounded in East Garfield Park Wednesday morning.
According to police, the three victims were inside a car when shots were fired from another vehicle. The victims drove off northbound and crashed in the 300 block of North Kedzie Avenue.
There was a brown sedan with several bullet holes that crashed into a tree on the scene.
A 40-year-old man was shot throughout the body and pronounced dead on the scene.
A 28-year-old man was taken to Sinai Hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds. A 56-year-old man was taken to Stroger Hospital for observation.
