A man who was at the center of a recent nationwide manhunt is now spending his days behind bars in Ottawa. Twenty-two-year-old Xavier Tate Jr. of Aurora was booked into the La Salle County Jail Friday afternoon. He’s accused of shooting and killing Chicago police Officer Luis Huesca back on the morning of April 21st. Investigators say Tate shot Huesca in his vehicle, targeting him only because he was a police officer.
