KENWOOD – A popular gym chain’s Kenwood location is closed for good after it was evicted last week and lost its franchise rights, county and company officials said. A Planet Fitness franchise was evicted Thursday from the CSO Sports Multiplex, 1301 E. 47th St., Cook County Sheriff’s Office officials told Block Club. News of the gym’s closure was first reported by the TRiiBE. Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sophia Ansari said deputies enforced a court-ordered eviction.
