Rain Flushes Away Chicago’s Foul Smell

CHICAGO – Three weeks into an unusually dry September, rain is finally rolling back into Chicago – helping to stifle that foul stench wafting through the city. On Sunday, the seemingly endless string of sunny, 80-degree days this month came to an end as rain storms rolled through the city. The National Weather Service forecasted rains and possible thunderstorms for the city through the day Sunday.
