CHICAGO — A woman was found shot to death on the city’s Far South Side on Saturday morning, sparking a police investigation.
According to Chicago police, the woman, whose age has not been determined, was found fatally shot in the 9500 block of South Avenue North, just after 9:30 a.m.

The woman had suffered more than one gunshot wound to her body and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Offices say the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death are currently under investigation.
Authorities have not yet identified the victim.
