CHCAGO — A man was charged after a 17-year-old girl was seriously injured in a shooting earlier this month on the West Side.
Esteban Perez, 22, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm after he was taken into custody Monday in the 5400 block of West Fullerton.
He’s accused of shooting a 17-year-old girl Sept. 7 in the 1500 block of South Ridgeway.
The girl suffered serious injuries as a result of the shooting, according to police.
U.S. Marshals along with Chicago police were involved in the arrest.
