Search underway for missing teen girl last seen leaving Humboldt Park home

CHICAGO — The search for a missing teen girl continues on Wednesday and Chicago police are seeking help from the public.

According to police, 15-year-old Eugenia Garcia-Lugo has been missing from her home on the city’s West Side since Monday night.

Officers said the teen girl was last seen leaving her home in the 1100 block of North Lawndale Avenue, in Humboldt Park, at around 10 p.m., but has not been contacted since.

The missing teen, who stands 5-foot-3 and weighs around 120 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

Police said Garcia-Lugo was last spotted wearing a beige dress with a floral print.

Authorities notified the public about Garcia-Lugo’s disappearance in a news release on Tuesday evening.
