7-year-old boy among 2 shot inside West Pullman home, police say

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Shots were fired from outside a home in West Pullman Monday night, wounding a 7-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man.

It happened at about 9 p.m. at 116th and Yale. The victims were inside the residence.

According to police, “Unknown occupants in a white Audi sedan fired shots from the street.”

The child was shot in the back and also has a graze wound to the head. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

The man was shot in the chest and right arm. He was taken to Christ Hospital, also in critical condition.

Police say nobody is in custody. Detectives are investigating.
