CHICAGO – A man has died after being shot inside a home near the Burnside neighborhood Sunday morning.
Chicago police said just before 6:30 a.m., a 39-year-old man was inside a home in the 800 block of East 89th Place when he was shot in the abdomen.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene when first responders arrived, according to investigators.
No arrests have been made and detectives are investigating.
