Two Teens Accused of Violent Robbery and Assault on Chicago’s South Side

Early this week, Chicago authorities took two 15-year-old teenagers into custody in connection to a violent incident that occurred on the city’s South Side in late August. The Chicago Police Department reports that these juveniles are accused of attacking and robbing a 29-year-old woman at the 47th Street Red Line CTA station around 2:30 a.m. on August 31. The incident escalated when they reportedly beat the woman and forcefully took her personal belongings.
