Police say the victim was sitting in a parked car in the 100 block of North Waller Avenue just after 10 p.m. when two offenders demanded his property at gunpoint and began shooting. The victim sped off and struck several vehicles before coming to a stop at the end of the block.
He was taken by the Chicago Fire Department to an area hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the head and neck, police say.
