Chicago Man Sentenced to Over 8 Years for Firearm Possession After High-Speed Chase Involving LaPorte and Lake County Law Enforcement

Chicago resident Hamidullah Tribble has been sentenced to a significant 100-month stint in federal prison. After a jury found him guilty of possessing a firearm as a felon, Tribble is looking at over eight years behind bars, followed by two years of supervised release. U.S. District Court Judge Philip P. Simon handed down the sentence, United States Attorney Clifford D. Johnson’s office confirmed.
