Violence interrupted the flow of traffic and lives on the Dan Ryan Expressway in Englewood on a recent Friday night. An Uber ride turned perilous when, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, a vehicle drew alongside and unleashed a barrage of bullets around 9 p.m. near 59th Street. The targeted Uber vehicle carried two passengers who sustained gunshot wounds; their ages and genders have not been disclosed.
