CHICAGO – A gunman is on the run after breaking into a home and shooting someone he knew on Chicago’s West Side, police said. The shooting happened around 5:44 a.m. inside a residence in the 5500 block of West Jackson Boulevard. A 37-year-old man was inside the home when the gunman, someone he knew, forced his way in and opened fire.
