CHICAGO — A Chicago man was arrested and charged in the killing of a 34-year-old woman on Dec. 9 in the Englewood neighborhood on the city’s South Side.

According to Chicago police, 32-year Antwon Chambers has been charged with first-degree murder, along with one felony count of murder-strong possibility death/injury and one issuance of warrant.
Police say Chambers was arrested Thursday in the 500 block of West 69th Street, about two blocks from where the body of the woman he’s accused of murdering was found.

Chambers was due for a detention hearing Sunday.
