CHICAGO – Police are investigating three armed robberies that occurred late Christmas Eve into early Christmas morning. So far, no arrests have been announced. The first holdup occurred at the Shell station, 3011 West Belmont, around 10:10 p.m. A man told police he was at the pumps when a gunman wearing a black ski mask walked up and demanded his wallet. After the robbery, the offender fled in a black sedan.
