JACKSON COUNTY (WKBT) — The Wisconsin State Patrol arrested a Chicago man on Friday night resulting in his 3rd OWI offense.
On January 3 at approximately 11:02 p.m., a Wisconsin State Trooper responded a driving complaint on I-94 Westbound near mile marker 98.
The vehicle that received the complaint had been reported driving at various speeds and waving across the lanes of traffic.
An officer with the Osseo Police Department and a Trempealeau Sherriff’s Deputy deployed tire deflation devices on the vehicle near the 88 Westbound offramp and were able to successfully slow down the vehicle in the process.
The vehicle continued another two miles and was finally stopped after a Trempealeau Deputy performed a pursuit intervention (PIT) maneuver.
A high risk stop was conducted and the male driver and female passenger were taken into custody.
46 year old Ronald Teetteh from Chicago showed signs of impairment and was transported to a local area hospital for a legal blood draw and was later transported to the Jackson County Jail.
