Chicago police officers detained 10 suspects after three people were mugged by a group of attackers on the Red Line near Roosevelt on Sunday night. So far, no arrests have been announced.
A CPD spokesperson said three boys, a 16-year-old and two 15-year-olds, were riding a northbound train when the group approached them around 9:30 p.m. At least one person in the group implied they had a gun as the mob beat and robbed the victims, the spokesperson said.
