2 teens wanted on murder charges in Cook County arrested on bus along I-65 in Tippecanoe Co.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Two 18-year-olds wanted on murder charges in Illinois were arrested early Wednesday morning, after Indiana State Police learned they were on a passenger bus traveling southbound on Interstate 65.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Jeremy Piers said the two men, Shamod Colone and Myron Washington, were wanted out of Cook County for alleged involvement in a murder.

The passenger bus traveling southbound was pulled over on Indiana 43 after exiting I-65, Piers said, where state police were able to pull the two 18-year-olds from the bus and conduct their investigation…
