Several Big Lots locations will permanently shutter this year following the chain’s decision to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in September 2024.
According to USA Today, the beloved discount retailer revealed that they will be closing most of their locations in 2025 amid launching “going out of business” sales across the country. Over 400 stores have already closed their doors for good since January 1 with hundreds more to follow.
