It appears there will soon be two more vacant buildings in Illinois as a document submitted to the state indicates medical and social service facilities are closing which will result in 157 being out of work in March.
There are two new WARN notices that have been shared to the Illinois Work Net website. It says that these two Illinois facilities will be closing soon.

Kindred Hospital – Sycamore – 225 Edward St. – Sycamore, IL 60178
According to the document submitted to the state of Illinois, these closures will result in 157 being laid off effective March 19, 2025. It goes on to say that their management came to the decision to close these facilities since they only have an occupancy of around 36% which is below the state standard of 85% that they had hoped for. It also says that shutting these two locations down will help them serve the greater Chicago area better through the facilities that they have remaining.
