Larry Bell, who over the course of four decades built his home-brewing hobby into one of the nation’s largest craft breweries, put his home in the Southport Corridor section of Chicago’s Lakeview community on the market.
Bell, who retired in 2021 after selling Kalamazoo-based Bell’s Brewery to Australian brewer Lion, and his wife, Shannon, are asking $3.2 million for the seven-bedroom house on Greenview Avenue. It came on the market Feb. 25, represented by Michael Kearney of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago.
The Bells bought the house in 2013 for $2.75 million, according to the Cook County Clerk. (See photos of the home at the bottom of this story.)…
