QC woman dies in Chicago shooting

An East Moline woman died after she was shot Saturday night at a Chicago hotel in a River North neighborhood.

Officers found a hotel security guard who was shot first, then found 32-year-old Kenliada Maressa Porter of East Moline in a room on the 30th floor. She passed away about two hours later.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports police seek a 35-year-old man from the Quad Cities as a possible suspect…
