CHICAGO — Two men have been jailed pending trial after prosecutors accused them of robbing a UPS driver, hoping to get away with the courier’s iPhone packages.
Officials said the driver was inside his truck in the 800 block of North Spaulding when Trevon Walker, 23, and Dequan Kennedy, 24, confronted him inside the vehicle around 9:55 a.m. on February 17.
“Back away or this is gonna get ugly,” Kennedy allegedly threatened. The men ordered the UPS driver to check his deliveries for any that contained iPhones, prosecutors said, and they eventually fled with about 30 packages…
