Man shot by ‘known offender’ inside Roscoe Village home

CHICAGO — Police are looking for a known suspect after a man was shot inside his Roscoe Village home Saturday morning.

The 53-year-old victim was at home in the 1900 block of West Roscoe when the man shot him around 8:18 a.m., according to Chicago police.

A 911 caller reported that the shooter was her ex-boyfriend and that he came to the house and shot her roommate in the shoulder, according to police radio traffic. The suspect, who has two felony gun convictions in Cook County, fled the scene on foot…
