Erie Man Sentenced to Over 10 Years in Prison for Cocaine Trafficking Following Chicago Trip

On Thursday, the United States Department of Justice reported that Ezequiel Rosa-Hernandez, a 47-year-old Pennsylvania resident, has been sentenced to a term of 125 months in federal prison following his guilty plea for possession with intent to distribute cocaine. The DOJ announcement also noted that after serving his prison sentence, Rosa-Hernandez will face a supervised release period of five years.

The case documents revealed that in April of 2022, Rosa-Hernandez made a trip from his home in Erie, Pennsylvania to Chicago to secure a kilogram of cocaine, with Indiana law enforcement thwarting his attempt to distribute the substance in Pennsylvania as they stopped him while he was on his way back home, and during this stop, law enforcement discovered the kilogram of cocaine…
